The JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship (JKNRC) is India’s premier racing championship for the drivers aiming at Formula Car Racing. The Championship which was launched in 1997 by JK Tyre has now become the revered launch pad for budding motorsport talents in the country. The Formula LGB 4 is the first step to the single-seater racing and remains the most economical single seater racing available anywhere across the world. The cars are powered by a carbureted 1298cc Suzuki Swift engines and feature an Esteem 5-Speed Gearbox and a chrome molybdenum tubing frame.
The championship consists of 4 rounds consisting of 3 races in each round totalling 12 races. The races are held across the country from June to November. Yash with 4 wins, 2 second and 2 third finish won the National Championship in a close fight.

The Formula LGB Swift is a single seater, open wheel class in India launched in 2003. The cars are powered by 1.3 liter Maruti Esteem engines. This car can be considered as an Indian equivalent of Europe’s Formula Ford series, where it is void of aerodynamic aids like wings. From 2006 this car replaced Formula Maruti as an entry-level formula car. This series offers the first feel and insights into open wheel racing for an upcoming race driver.

The Rookie Cup is conducted along with the Kart Open which consisting of 8 races spread over 2 Rounds with 4 races per Round. In 2016, the races were held at Meco Kartopia, Bangalore on 21 and 22 May 2016.
Yash participated under the Junior category for the season 2016 and was titled the Vice Champion 2016 Kart open category.

In 2014, the races were held in MMS Lehari Resort Kart Center in Hyderabad, on 4 and 5 May 2012. Yash with 5 Wins, 4 Second and 1 third, finished the championship to be titled as the Champion 2013.
The JK Tyre MMS Rotax Rookie Cup is an exclusive championship for first-time participants or debut racers, and for racers who have never won a place on the podium. Meco Motor Sports along with JK Tyre introduced this Rookie Championship in order to encourage and prepare new comers for the racing season.
The National Rookie Championship consisting of 2 Rounds. Round-1 was held at Kartainment Track, Hyderabad and Round 2 was held at the MMS Lehari Resort Kart Center in Hyderabad. Yash finished 1st Runner-up in both the Rounds in his debut season and was crowned the Vice Champion
